How many languages do you support?
English and Chinese are always available. If you require other languages, please contact us in advance so that we can dispatch our staff.
What kind of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, credit card, E-money, QR code payments.
Do I need to make an appointment to see a doctor?
We accept patients without appointments. However the patient with appointment will be prioritized.
Can you issue a medical certificate and how long is the processing time?
We can issue a medical certificate in most cases. (Contact us for more details) If you have a test result from other hospital and need a medical certificate,please bring the result with you. If you have a specific form of medical certificate, please send it to us via email before making an appointment with us. The estimated processing time is 1 week. We can issue a medical certificate for COVID-19 antigen test and PCR test as soon as we receive the test result.
What kind of tests do you provide?
Sky Clinic Shinjuku provides treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries, such as fever, cough, earaches, UTI, minor cuts, and so on whether you have Japanese insurance or not. We also provide medical services, including ongoing care such as management of high blood pressure, diabetes, and so on.
How long does it take to get a test result?
It takes about a week for blood test, and about 30min for rapid tests (such as flu and norovirus)
I am not sure which specialist I should visit. Is it okay to visit ?
We are primary care clinic. Feel free to visit us if you have any concerns or questions regarding your health.
Can I see an ENT doctor?
General practitioner examine you first. We will refer you to a specialist when specific treatment tools are required.
Can I get a prescription without seeing a doctor?
No, you cannot. You need to consult a doctor to get a prescription.
How are hospitals reimbursed in Japan?
More specifically, DPC payments: Are dispersed for hospital stays, diagnostics, injections, pharmaceuticals, and medical treatments valued at less than 1,000 points.
